Holmes Dental is amazing. Dr Dan is wonderful and performs the utmost best quality of work. Betsy at the front desk/administrative area is super engaged and professional. Lindley, my Hygienist, is amazing and so reassuring. I was someone who did not have the best dental care growing up and Holmes Dental has really changed my perspective and overall fears that I had around dental work. Dr. Dan was able to get me in and made my new crown for me that same day. He has state of the art equipment and is very gentle. From the women at the front desk (Tannii and Betsy) to his assistants Emily and Tori, it was the best experience ever! I've been back twice now for my cleanings and again today because I broke another crown. I believe Lindsey is the one who cleans my teeth. Lindsey is also very pleasant and great at her job. I don’t like going to the dentist but I have to say it's a good experience coming here. You can tell everyone in this office loves coming to work. I highly recommend this office!

September 2021 - I am new to town and suddenly had an old filling pop out. I called the office and they were GREAT! They hooked my up with Dr Dan for a temp filling appt in the same week even though I am new and was not in pain. Dr Dan came in on a day off to do the filling. I was in and out in less than an hour! I look forward to a long relationship with this office!

So happy I found this place for my new dentist!!! Betsy, Tannii, Misty, and Dr. Holmes are all so, so nice and provide a fun, welcoming office experience. I usually dread going to the dentist at least a little bit but this crew makes it a breeze. And Dr. Holmes was excellent at explaining the what and the why of what’s going on with my teeth so there’s nothing to worry about. If you’re looking for a new dentist give Holmes Dental a call. You’ll be glad you did!

Always an excellent experience! Tannin and Betsy are wonderful at the front desk and are always engaging. They make me smile every time! The hygienist staff is friendly and professional. (I’ve had 3 different ones and all have been top notch!) Both of the Doctors Holmes are also very nice and professional. I had a vernier replaced after I cracked it and was very happy with the results. Prefect color match an d fit. I highly recommend this practice. I’ve been going to them for 3 years now and am completely happy in all respects!

This was my first visit—my wife and I recently relocated to Fort Collins, and Dr. Dan Holmes, the hygenist Caile (forgive whatever errors I’m making in the spelling), and the front office staff were all highly skilled, engaging and informative. I’m very happy to have found what is clearly an excellent dental practice here in Fort Collins—these folks inspire confidence!

I love this place so much! I recently came in to Holmes Dental to get my Botox done by Dr Nikki. I’ve never gotten it done before and I wasn’t sure that I would be impressed by it, but WOW! She did an amazing job and now I’m addicted! Tannii is at the front desk and made everything so easy for me and ready right when I was finished. She puts a smile on my face every time I see her. What an amazing office! I’ve already made another appointment and I’ll only trust them with my aesthetic injections from here on out. Home-run, Holmes Dental.

Every person at Holmes Dental is exceptional. The care provided is genuine, compassionate and above all the best you can find. Dr Holmes repaired two fractured front teeth for me after a sport injury and they look like nothing happened!! Artistry, is the word. Several months later after working with a team consisting of a Periodontist, an Orthodontist and Dr. Holmes – one of my teeth was fractured below the gum line so the tooth was extruded over time – thus allowing Dr. Holmes to place a permanent crown onto my own tooth! This avoided an implant!! The new crown is on and my smile/teeth look just like my original smile. What a great Dentist and great team at Holmes Dental of Fort Collins!!

I would highly recommend my team! Cailey, Emily, Dr. Dan and Betsy! I have extreme anxiety at the dentist office! Betsy worked with encouraging me that this would be a perfect fit. She helped get my appointment scheduled quickly and when it was convenient for me. Cailey was w fantastic , patient, and during my cleaning. I was at ease, which never happens! Emily and Dr. Dan were a great team for my filling! Dr. Dan was gentle, and kind. My comfort was their main concern. I feel this could be the dental office that will help me get me past the dental anxiety I have had all my life! I have been smiling since! Update: 7/1/24 I can’t say enough about this office! I grew up in a world of painful dentistry which has left me with tremendous anxiety! Holmes Dental has worked with me to help me feel comfortable! My teeth, smile, and anxiety have all been addressed! This office is fantastic and professional. They have the latest technology to reduce pain. The teeth whitening procedure was a dream come true! Thank you Betsy, Tawny, Savannah, Cailey and Dr. Dan! I also had met another patient that had a similar background. She was so very complimentary of HD. If you are hesitant about calling, don’t put it off!

A good dentist- they do a great job and seem to be using new technology. **However all new patients should know their cancellation policy is 48 BUSINESS hours or a $75 fine. Meaning, if your appointment is on a Tuesday you’d have to inform them the previous Thursday that you will need to cancel. I did have an issue with an emergency but ended up making the appointment (the fine which was nearly the cost of my cleaning service). That being said it seems that most dentists office in the area have pretty hefty fines for cancellations so this may be the norm. Otherwise a great team!

Dr.Dan has taken such good care of my dental health for at least 16 years. I am always blown away by his effort to fine tune and give his absolute best help in every aspect!! My Hygienist pairs so well with his skills and personality. She has heard about some of the hardest of challenges as I juggle a medically fragile teen and takes the time to connect and comfort me on top of caring for my oral health!!!

Dr Dan help me smile again my mouth has been done for a good year and my life has change so much; I'm the grandma my grandchild love having around and just seeing friends and family some can't even tell I have dentures my mouth looks so normal Thank you!! I was a little nervous about trying out a new office after working in dentistry for 10 years. Upon my arrival Tannii made me feel right at home and like I was an old friend. Corryn did an amazing cleaning, extremely through with a gentle hand. At check out Betsy explained my coverage & cost for future visit. I recently had the pleasure of meeting Dr.Dan as well as Corryn, one of their full time hygienist. Dr. Dan repaired a broken crown for me and, several days later I had my normal cleaning and exam with Corryn, and I couldn't be happier with both of my experiences. Both Dr. Dan and Corryn were highly skilled, thorough and very pleasant to work with! I would highly recommend this dental practice to any and everyone!

Holmes dental is hands-down the best dental experience that I've ever had. I've been going here for cleanings for approximately one year. Before coming here, I must admit that I was not taking very good care of my teeth. I rarely flossed, and hadn't been to a dentist in ~6 years. All of the staff here was so kind and understanding. They got me back up to speed with my cleanings & xrays, and helped me create a plan to maintain my teeth. Corryn is hands-down the best hygienist I've ever seen. She was very gentle with the (extensive) cleaning I had to get. She was also very kind and encouraging. I honestly think that if it wasn't for her and the other kind people at Holmes Dental, I would not have kept up on my flossing/brushing after getting my cleanings done. Dr Dan and Nicole are very personable. During my exams, they were sure to go through my options with me, and make sure that I understood what needed to be done, and why it needed to be done. They are also very upfront about pricing. This is a especially helpful if finances are a deciding factor in getting work done. Overall, going to Holmes Dental has been a very positive experience, and I'd recommend it to anyone.

Holmes Dental was so welcoming to my elderly Mom for her exam & cleaning! Very clean office, friendly staff and most high tech equipment. We are so happy we found Dr. Holmes and look forward to our whole family being patients here! They offer a great plan for people without dental insurance, too. My Mom says Lindley is her best ever RDH🦷

Great staff, Dr Dan is wonderful. I've been going to Holmes Dental since I moved to Ft Collins 10 years ago. I've had all successful treatments and still look forward to getting more done.The office is convenient, new, clean, and comfortable. New in FOCO area and the first dentist I was recommended to was ok but did not offer an in house crown solution that I've been accustomed to so when I needed some work after a crown suddenly fell out over the holidays, I did some searching based on user ratings and found Holmes Dental. 

As I said I had lost a crown over the holiday and wanted it replaced quickly. I made a call was greeted by a friendly understanding receptionist who assured me they had the capability to do it in house and was able to schedule me for 2 days later with the assurance they could get it fixed that afternoon. She took a few pieces of info set up the appointment and then sent me an email/text confirmation along with new patient paperwork to save time. When I arrived I was pleasantly surprised at the facility cleanliness and design and after a short wait had Dr. Dan Holmes himself greet me and bring me back to the treatment area. I noted how clean and well set up the place was which put me immediately at ease but then I became even more relaxed as we had a pleasant chat because here was a dentist who appeared very unhurried and genuinely interested. We then began the procedure which I must say was one of the most pleasant experiences I have ever had in a dentist office. He even invited me to bring in my pup (who was patiently waiting in my car) while the crown was being fabricated! I got to meet his wife Nicole who is also a dentist and business partner and several of the staff and everyone was really pleasant and professional. The procedure got finished about hour later as promised and I must say it seems to be a great fit. 

The office is both immaculate and has all the latest technology (which really appeals to a discriminating tech geek like me). Even the prices seemed very fair and they also have a membership plan that seems to be equivalent (if not better) than some dental plans like delta dental. If you are looking for a new dentist office give these guys a try and I'm sure you will be pleased!

Dr. Dan Holmes recently helped me with a dental concern while my dentist was out of town. From the warm greeting on the phone to a resolve for my tooth, I was very impressed with the level of care, professionalism, knowledge and kindness. Cannot say enough of how Holmes Family Dental eased my dental issue and my mind.

For context: I have not once, not even once in my life EVER had dental work where the dentist promised that the nitrous, numbing creams, or outright injection of novacain (sp?) would work and it actually worked. Different dentists over decades of my life, and if I have had a cavity, I felt at least some discomfort if not pain. I initially started at Holmes dental for Invisalign and had a fantastic process. Then I went there for a routine cleaning and needed to get a cavity taken care of--queue the anxiety! Dr. Nikki worked with me. No one was weird about the anxiety or acted like I was dumb to be nervous. But the best part? When the cavity was filled for the first time in my life, whatever numbing agents or processes they are using **actually worked**. I truly didn't feel anything. I was in and out in an hour. I cannot recommend them enough!

Recently moved to Ft. Collins from CA where I left the best dentist ever who is also one of my favorite people in the world - an almost impossible act to follow! The team at Holmes Dental here in Ft. Collins made my initial visit a breeze - scheduling was simple, and I was even offered an earlier appt. when it opened up; the desk staff was friendly and professional; and then I met my hygienist Corryn. Corryn is friendly and professional; she’s through and detailed but easy to talk to; she is so knowledgeable and great at what she does that I was immediately put at ease knowing I was in good hands. Dr. Dan’s exam was also detailed and covered everything, including answering all my questions. Great first experience and I plan to continue trusting my ongoing dental care to the team at Holmes Dental.

Corryn is most kind, thoughtful and capable dental hygienist I’ve ever had. Dr. Dan is an extremely helpful and thorough DDS. After over 20 years of being his patient (my family, too), even though the dentist is not top of my list of favorite places to go, they do everything they can to make it a pleasant experience. I appreciate their hard work and dedication.

Holmes Dental is the best! Jake told me to tell you that he sent me. I was in town for a few days and they were able to work me in to their schedule. They made me feel like I was part of the family. The staff are attentive, fun and friendly. Both of the Doctors Holmes were professional, yet personable. Even though I live in a different state, I’m coming back to FoCo just to see Holmes Dental!! Not the typical dental office that you dread going to. Corryn is my hygienist and she is always cheery and kind. So good at her job too. Gets the job done with no pain and suffering. Also, had a scan done with Kenna. She was so good at explaining everything. Can’t ask for better staff helping you! Great job Holmes Dental!

Love the online forms so everything's done before you arrive. Staff is very friendly and helpful, they explained well what was going to be done and offered options for anesthetic if you want it. Dentist was very pleasant and professional, my work turned out exactly like I wanted, and was done in kne visit. Very happy and would gladly recommend!

Okay, I work here, so you could say that I’m biased. But I’ve had extensive dental work over the last 20+ years with multiple dentists across the continent. Dr. Dan is top notch - from his injection technique (painless) to the appearance of his restorations (flawless). He has such a funny, dry sense of humor, and our team laughs a lot! 😂 It’s a gift to work in such an environment. I’m very pleased that Dr. Dan will be doing my dental work for the foreseeable future!

This was primarily a cleaning appointment an Corryn did a great job, quick & efficient. Dr. Dan then came in to assess the implant site and determine the next steps to take. I now have 2 future appointments in early 2022 to create the new crown. All went well and I was out of the office in just under ah hour.

My whole life, visits to the dentist were a dreaded affair. The painful poking and scraping was never much to look forward to. Especially if you suffer from TMJ like I do and your jaw can easily dislocate from fatigue. But somehow the team at Holmes Dental manages to surprise me each visit with their speed, efficiency, and gentle care of my sensitive gums. I struggle to keep on top of my dental hygiene, and that can makes any visit a bit nerve-racking. When I talk to the folks at Holmes about my struggles and how certain mental illnesses can severely impact day-to-day hygienic routines, they listen mindfully and are always encouraging. With their help, I've been able to pull myself out of dental despair and maintain a healthy mouth in just a few visits! Holmes Dental has been the best dental experience I've ever had, and I would recommend them to anyone!

Coming to Holmes Dental is always such a positive experience for me. I feel like all of the staff really care about my needs and preferences and are great about answering any questions I have. I recently moved out of Fort Collins but will still be coming to Holmes because I don’t want to give up this great care!

Dr Holmes is such a lovely dentist. Caring & careful dentistry. Every staff member adds to the comfortable feeling: from entering the office until I leave. They’ve done everything they can to keep patients safe during this pandemic. All their procedures & protocols add to the feeling of safety. They are terrific!!!

Saw they didn’t have many reviews and thought I should share. I’ve been going here for years and it’s always been a positive experience. If you want a high quality educated staff and facility this is your place. If you prefer the Walmart version of dental practices go to comfort dental but you’ll be in pain… your choice. My favorite part of Holmes is my hygienist she is great and really cares for me and my needs.

Dr. Dan, Dr. Nicole and their team are wonderful! My husband and I switched to their dental office a few years ago after having a not so great experience elsewhere and have been very happy ever since. All of the hygienists (shout out to Val and Corryn for being awesome) are so friendly and make you feel very comfortable. Their office manager, Makael, is also fantastic and always so cheerful (even when you have to reschedule.) Highly recommend if you’re searching for a new dentist!

I've been a patient at Holmes Dental for many years and wholly appreciate the warmth, friendliness, competency, and helpfulness I've encountered from Drs. Dan & Nicole, to the A-M-A-Z-I-N-G Val (hygienist), Makael, and all others. Val is the best hygienist, hands down. Dr. Dan's calm and authentic demeanor put me at easy. Dr. Nicole's warm and friendly bedside manner also put me at ease. I'd highly recommend to anyone in need of a great experience.

All interactions I have had with Holmes Dental have been pleasant. For someone with slight anxiety to the professions who wear white coats, I have felt comfortable with all of the staff. The office has been very easy to work with and has been willing to work with me concerning scheduling and insurance issues. I rarely recommend, and I would recommend Holmes Dental. Thank you guys.

I popped off a crown one day the next day they fixed it. So pleased that Dan and Nicole are so dependable. My son chipped a tooth late on a Friday afternoon and Dan had us come in so he could repair it. The repair is invisible and has lasted 10+ years. Their staff is consistently friendly and thorough. I highly recommend Holmes Dental .

I have been going to Holmes for 18 years now. They have the absolute best in care and service. So detailed and listen so carefully. Dan Holmes is not just one of the best Dentists and a true professional but a caring individual as well. The staff was top notch with my visit yesterday, dealing with new procedures and they were still at the top of their game. With everything going on I still got in and out exactly on time!

We have gone to Holmes dental for 7 years as a family. We moved to Arizona 5 months ago and never found a dentist that even compared to Dan and Nikki. Back for Thanksgiving, they were able to get our whole family in for a cleaning. We all commented on how much we miss this place! I cannot tell you how professional, honest, gentle and kind everyone is at their office. Beyond thankful for them!

We have been coming to Holmes Family Dental for years. Dr Dan and Nikki have treated our whole family. I would and have recommended them to friends and family over the years. The care here is execellent from the front desk to the hygienists. They have always been super responsive about getting us in for dental emergencies as well. Great practice with an awesome staff. Moving cross-country we made a stop to visit family in Fort Collins. My 9yo son complained of pain in his front tooth he’d chipped and gotten repaired 3 months prior. My sister insisted we call her dentist of 20 years. Wow what an awesome practice!! Not only did they take us in ASAP the staff treated us like family. Dr Nicole brought me back to see the ex ray they’d taken and explained that my son would need a root canal but it wasn’t an emergency. She could have made it into a big deal but kept it simple. She made this mother feel very confident that we would make it to our new home before needing any major work done. I appreciate that she explained things so I (not a dentist) understood what was happening to my sons tooth.

So far after 4 visits with Dr. Dan Holmes. I'm starting to believe I found a great dentist. The dentist is kind, understanding, patient, and most of all calm. I have high dental anxiety due to past experiences but he is helping me get over that to some extent. The staff is helpful and friendly which is very important.

I have to say that I'm honestly 100% happy with this dental practice. The entire team here is absolutely Amazing. My experiences here have been wonderful - that's a lot coming from someone who hasn't had the best of dental situations. It's really difficult finding a dentist that fits you, but I'll go as far to say that I hit the jackpot with this group. If it wasn't for a good friend of mine telling me about this place, I'd probably still be bouncing around. I now have several of my family members going here as well, including my daughter who had her very first experience in the dental chair today. She loved it - Smiles all around! Holmes Family Dental, in my opinion, must be one of the best offices you can pick when it comes to your dental needs. I have been going to this office for years, and every time I have received quality treatment. This staff team is committed to their patients and will treat you in the best possible way. You will not be disappointed! They are competent, friendly, and understanding of your individual dental needs. They even worked with me on an interest-free payment plan when I was unable to afford the price of a crown up-front. This kind of service is hard to match and I would recommend Holmes Family Dental over anyone else.

I have been seeing Dr. Dan for over 14 years, as has my whole family. The staff is extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful (that Angie really knows how to deal with the insurance companies!). With regular cleanings every six months we have caught a few issues before they became major problems and my teeth and gums are in great shape. Fillings, shots, cleanings, x-rays--all are professional with very modern care. We have been fortunate to not have to need anything more than that, which I attribute in no small part to the dental care we recieve at Holmes Family Dental. Even for emergency care, we have been seen promptly and referred, if necessary, to specialists. My husband has had a permanent false tooth for 30 years and when it developed an abscess he was sure it would need to be replaced. Dr. Dan referred him to a great surgeon who healed the abscess and saved the tooth! Then my husband was in a serious cycling accident that crushed his face. The staff at Holmes Family Dental took care of the damage to his teeth AND made sure it was billed to the insurance appropriately as part of his accident. We would NEVER have thought of that! I cannot recommend them enough. Gentle, effective, and modern dentistry.
